BRAZIL’S 2026 SOYBEAN HARVEST REACHES 1.39%, DOUBLES LAST YEAR’S PACE

Brazil’s 2026 soybean harvest is underway, with 1.39% of the total area already harvested. This pace surpasses both last year’s 0.23% and the five-year average of 1.02%, although it trails 2024’s 2.38%. Mato Grosso leads the national advance, having harvested nearly 5% of its area despite early-cycle climate challenges. In other regions, the harvest remains sporadic, focused mainly on irrigated plots, according to data from Pátria Agronegócios.
