Evolua Etanol was born this Friday (1), the result of the union of two Brazilian companies Vibra and Copersucar, which trade the biofuel in the national and global markets. About 9 billion liters of ethanol are expected for the first year of live. According to the companies, Evolua Etanol will act as an open platform, with scale to serve the national and global market. Its purpose is “to make solutions viable, to integrate and bring operational efficiency, shortening the distances between ethanol producers and consumers in Brazil”. The capital stock is R$10 million, of which Copersucar holds a 50.01% interest and Vibra has a 49.99% interest, and there is already a forecast of a future contribution of another R$ 440 million, in proportion to the respective shares of the shareholders. “We hope to offer a modern and competitive commercialization alternative for all agents in the ethanol market, with an offer in scale and logistical efficiency”, said the CEO of Evolua Etanol, Pedro Paranhos. He points out that ethanol will be one of the greatest protagonists in the global process of energy transition, opening up “a range of possibilities” for Evolua.
