With 82.7% of sales, soybeans, pork, sugar, forest products, coffee, and cereals were the primary export industries. Highlights include sugar, with 3.73 million tons shipped, and beef, with a record USD 1.36 billion in exports. Comprising USD 1.40 billion (up 61.1%), the coffee sector also broke records.
