According to the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), soybean and soybean meal exports are likely to grow in December 2023 compared to the same month in 2022. However, they expect a drop in corn and wheat exports. Anec expects to ship around 3.58 million tons of soybeans in December, up 136% from what was exported in the same month of 2022. As for soybean meal, exports are anticipated to reach 2.04 million tons, a 51% annual increase. Corn exports are forecast to be 6.86 million tons in December, which is nearly 6% less than last December’s total. Finally, wheat exports are expected to reach 283.8 thousand tons in December, a year-on-year decline of 60%.
