BRAZIL TO EXPORT 107 MILLION TONS OF SOYBEANS IN 2025

According to Safras & Mercado, Brazil’s soybean exports in 2025 are expected to reach 107 million tons, up 8% from 98.813 million in 2024. While imports will remain at 150,000 tons, soybean crushing is expected to reach 55.5 million tons by 2025. Ending inventories will increase by 434% from 1.59 million to 8.486 million tons, as total soybean supply is expected to rise 10% and total demand rises 6%. Soybean meal production is projected to reach 42.7 million tons, while exports will decrease by 1%. Soybean oil production is expected to increase 1% in anticipation of its use in biodiesel, which is forecast to grow by 10%. Exports will drop 20%, but domestic consumption will climb 4%.
