BRAZIL SET TO ACHIEVE RECORD-BREAKING SOYBEAN HARVEST AND EXPORTS IN UPCOMING CYCLE

StoneX estimates that Brazil’s soybean harvest in 2024-25 will be a record 165 million tons, with only a 0.79% increase in planted area. Exports could hit a record high of 102 million tons. The output prediction for 2023-24 is 149 million tons, with shipments of 92 million tons. If the weather cooperates, the rise in productivity will lead to a larger harvest. The expected planted area for 2024-25 is 46.53 million hectares. Corn production is also expected to rise to 123.14 million tons in 2024-25, despite a drop in planted area for the first harvest.
