BRAZIL RECORDS 88.3% INCREASE IN ETHANOL EXPORTS IN JUNE COMPARED TO A YEAR EARLIER

Brazil’s ethanol exports surged in June, reaching 142.12 million liters—an 88.3% increase year-on-year and 82.1% higher than in May. Despite a 0.4% monthly drop in the average price to US$552.22/m³, revenue rose 75.9% compared to June 2024, totaling US$78.48 million. Key buyers included South Korea, the U.S., the Netherlands, Cameroon, and Ghana. However, exports in the first half of 2025 totaled 740 million liters, down 25.7% from the same period in 2024, although the average price increased 3.9% to US$581.27/m³, generating US$430.24 million in revenue.
