The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) announced that it will start monitoring more closely A S10 diesel oil imports into Brazil. Such a measure was approved by the directors board of the agency on Friday, July 1st through a so-called Supply Warning (free translation). According to the ANP, the monitoring of the fuel market takes place on a permanent basis and, at the moment, the supply of diesel remains regular all over the territory of Brazil. This is the second supply warning published in the last four months. The agency also stated that producers and distributors listed in the warning must inform all imports of A S10 diesel oil that hat not yet been nationalized and let the government know of any difficulties in contracting imports and/or ships to import the product.
