BRAZIL HARVESTED 99% OF SUMMER CORN FOR THE 2023/24 HARVEST; 86% SAFRINHA HARVESTED, SAYS CONAB

The 2023/24 summer corn harvest in Brazil has reached 99% of the sown area, according to the National Supply Company (Conab). This represents a 1.2 percentage point increase from the previous week but shows a slight delay compared to the same period last year. The second crop corn harvest has reached 86% of the area, a significant 29 percentage point increase from last year. Tocantins leads with 99% harvested, while Minas Gerais lags at 49%.
