BRAZIL BREAKS EXPORTS RECORD TO US IN 1H24

In the first half of 2024, Brazil’s coffee exports to the US surged by 44.6% compared to the same period in 2023, joining petroleum fuels and crude oil in substantial growth. Total Brazilian exports to the US hit a record $19.2 billion, a 12% increase from 2023. The Brazil-US Commerce Chamber (Amcham) reported that US imports of Brazilian products saw the highest growth, contributing to 29.1% of Brazil’s global sales increase. This growth surpassed exports to China and the European Union, which rose by 3.9% and 2.1%, respectively, while exports to South America fell by 24.3%.
