Brazil’s overall oilseed processing capacity reached 72.3 million tons this year, up 4.5% from 2023, according to a survey released on Monday by the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove). Along with a growth in the number of companies in the sector and operating factories, this increase marks a change in the count of industrial processing units from 129 to 132.
