BRAZIL ACELERATES DECEMBER GRAIN EXPORTS AS ANEC RAISES ESTIMATES

Brazil’s soybean exports for December were revised upward on Wednesday, with the Anec estimating shipments at 3.57 million tons. This figure is approximately 200,000 tons higher than the prior week’s forecast. Anec also made slight upward adjustments for other key commodities. Corn exports are now projected at 6.35 million tons, up from 6.30 million last week, while soymeal shipment forecasts were raised to 2 million tons from 1.83 million. If these projections hold, December shipments for all three products would show a significant increase compared to the same month last year. In December 2024 Brazil exported 1.47 million tons of soybeans, 3.6 million tons of corn, and 1.8 million tons of soymeal.
