On June 23, the Santos Port Authority (APS) launched Tender No. 40/2025 for structural reinforcement of the quay at Barnabé Island, aiming to accommodate larger vessels by increasing the draft from -10m to -15m. The 21-month project includes pile repairs, new fenders, a dolphin, metal gangways, and oil-water separators. APS also released seven other tenders for services and equipment, including veterinary supplies, helicopter transport, electrical substation improvements, office materials, road signage, ballistic vest covers, and equipment for the K9, maritime patrol, and armament sectors. Proposal deadlines range from July 1 to July 15, and details are available on the APS website.
