APS FINALIZES DREDGING PROJECT AT PORT OF SANTOS BERTHS 12A-20/21

In August, the Port Authority of Santos (APS) completed a significant dredging project, deepening berths between Warehouses 12A and 20/21 to 14.60 meters. The project removed 100,000 cubic meters of sediment and 500 cubic meters of jet-grouting residue, enhancing the port’s capacity for larger vessels. APS President Anderson Pomini highlighted that these upgrades aim to modernize and boost the port’s efficiency and competitiveness. The project, which began in March 2024 and involved over R$ 13 million in investment, involved collaboration between APS, the dredging company, and local terminals. A new hydrographic survey and inspection will follow to approve the updated operational draft.
