The National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) has approved the publication of the bidding notice for the port lease of the area known as NAT01, located at the Organized Port of Natal, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The decision is set out in Resolution No. 856/2025/ANTAQ, approved at the 601st Ordinary Meeting of the Collegiate Board, held virtually from December 15 to 17, 2025. The process concerns the leasing of a port terminal dedicated to the handling and storage of solid mineral bulk cargo, considered strategic for expanding the logistical and operational capacity of the Port of Natal. The interested party in the bidding process is Companhia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte (Codern), the port authority responsible for managing the terminal.
