ANTAQ APPROVES PUBLIC HEARING CONTRIBUTIONS FOR NAT01 TERMINAL LEASE PROCESS

The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (ANTAQ) approved the analysis of contributions from Public Hearing 01/2025, which aimed to refine technical and legal aspects of the bidding for terminal NAT01 at the Port of Natal (RN), intended for solid mineral bulk like iron ore. The 15-year lease (renewable) will now be reviewed by the Ministry of Ports and Airports and the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU). The consultation, held from February to April 2025, received 34 contributions, including accepted proposals to slightly expand the terminal’s boundary and add a sweeper machine. All details are on ANTAQ’s website.
