ANEC PROJECTS A 9.2% INCREASE IN SOYBEAN EXPORTS FOR MARCH

Anec estimates that Brazil will export 14.8 million soybeans in March, up 9.2% from last year and 54.4% from February. Rising 13.6% from March 2024 to 2.04 million tons, soybean meal exports are expected to increase 39.4% from February. Conversely, with a 73.8% decline from February, corn will increase by 140.2% by March 2024, reaching 339.6 thousand tons. Exports of wheat are expected to drop 81.9% year on year to 145 thousand tons and 73.8% from last month. Brazil shipped 3.39 million tons of soybeans and 417.8 thousand tons of meal between February 23 and 29. The week of March 2–8’s projection is for 586.7 thousand tons of soybean meal and 4.12 million tons of soybeans.
