AGRURAL: BRAZIL’S SOYBEAN PLANTING REACHES 71%, AMID IRREGULAR RAINS

By November 13, the planting of Brazil’s 2025-26 soybeans had reached 71% of the area, a weekly increase from 61% but still below last year’s 80%, AgRural reports. The pace remains affected by irregular rainfall in the Midwest and Matopiba and excessive humidity in the South. For summer corn in the Center-South, planting advanced to 85% from 72% the prior week, just shy of last year’s 87%. Progress was strong in São Paulo and Minas Gerais but delayed in Goiás due to uneven rains and the focus on sowing soybeans first.
