Brazilian agribusiness closes 2025 as the most competitive economy in the tropical belt, driven by productivity gains, expanded industrial capacity, and greater market diversification. Key commodities like soybeans, corn, meat, sugar, and coffee achieved record production and export levels. Growth was further supported by the expansion of corn ethanol and increased adoption of bioinputs, strengthening the links between agriculture, energy, and industry. According to CONAB, the 2024-25 harvest reached 354.75 million tons. Soybean production accounted for 177.6 million tons, while corn hit 119.8 million tons, 78% of which came from the second crop. The sector’s global reach also widened, with the Ministry of Agriculture opening 211 new international markets over the year.
