Exports climbed by 5.5% in March compared to 2024, totaling USD 29.2 billion, while imports increased by 2.6% to USD 21 billion. Exports increased in the industrial and agricultural sectors, but mining and quarrying declined. Exports to Europe, South America, and Oceania increased, while North America, the Middle East, and Africa declined. Imports have decreased from South America, the Middle East, and Oceania, but remain primarily from Asia, Europe, and North America. China is the largest importer, while Argentina and Europe are the primary destinations for Brazilian exports.
