In September 2025, Brazil’s agribusiness sector achieved a record high for monthly exports, reaching USD 14.95 billion, a 6.1% rise from 2024 and accounting for 49% of total exports. This performance was fueled by a 7.4% increase in volumes, with notable growth in beef (+55.6%), pork (+28.6%), corn (+23.5%), and coffee (+9.3%). Less conventional exports like watermelon, beans, and dairy products also hit record levels. For the year, the sector’s exports totaled USD 126.6 billion, generating a surplus of over USD 111 billion. These outcomes underscore the competitiveness and diversity of Brazilian agriculture. Agriculture Minister Carlos Fávaro credits the success to the opening of 444 new markets and more than 60 international missions aimed at commercial expansion, reaffirming Brazil’s position as a global leader in food security.
