According to FGVAgro, agro-industrial production rose 3.9% in January 2024 compared to the same month in 2023. This represents the sixth consecutive growth and the most January year-over-year increase in the previous six years. The output of non-food products (2.4%) and food/beverage products (4.9%) propelled the expansion. Since the third quarter of 2023, the agro-industrial sector has been growing, as seen by higher consumption and the primary sector’s strong performance. This successful result was also aided by other areas, including Forest Products and Agricultural Inputs.
