Brazilian agribusiness has reached a historic milestone by gaining access to 400 international export markets within a 2.5-year period, cementing its status as a global powerhouse in food, fiber, and energy. Recent successes include authorization to export bone-in beef to the Philippines, a country that has already imported over USD 1.5 billion worth of Brazilian goods in 2024. This expansion into key markets like China, Mexico, Vietnam, and Japan for various products was driven by a collaboration between the government and industry, aided by a global network of attachés (38 countries), trade missions, and data analytics. This is reflected in strong export figures of USD 82.8 billion for the first half of 2025, marked by significant diversification beyond traditional products.
