CORN ETHANOL PRODUCTION IN MATO GROSSO SET TO SOAR AFTER 17.09% GROWTH

Mato Grosso’s ethanol output increased by 17.09% in the 2024-25 harvest, reaching 6.70 billion liters, making it Brazil’s second largest producer after São Paulo. Corn-based ethanol output increased by 23.77%, hitting 5.62 million m³, the most significant advance among the top five producing states. Co-product generation also expanded, strengthening the industrial chain and supporting energy transition and livestock feed.
