Initial results of good productivity enliven the market. The 2019/20 soybean harvest in Mato Grosso advanced 14.96% in the last week, reaching 73.18% of the predicted area, points out the latest bulletin from the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea). According to the institute, in relation to yields, the results obtained continue to encourage the market, given that the productivity registered in the last weeks is being the highest for this period in the entire historical series. However, according to Imea, from now on, in the event of normal climatic conditions, the prospect is that productivity will decrease, since most of the most fertile areas have already been harvested in the state.
