Corn also set new records with a production of 14.2 million tons, growing 25.9%, and an average yield of 7.2 tons per hectare, an 11.3% increase. For the upcoming 2025/26 season, planting is expected to cover 5.1 million hectares for soybeans and 2.0 million hectares for corn, with corn yields projected at 6.9 tons per hectare.
