Wheat harvesting in Paraná is advancing rapidly and should confirm a historic productivity record of over 3,300 kg/ha, despite rain-related challenges. However, the total volume will be lower due to a 25% reduction in planted area, reaching 2.75 million tons. Soybeans remain the state’s main crop, with 5.77 million hectares planted and favorable conditions suggesting a near-record harvest. Corn gained 20% in acreage, supported by stable prices. In contrast, potato, tomato, and onion crops show mixed results — with potatoes and onions facing declines in area and production, while tomatoes remain stable or slightly down depending on the season.
