Brazil’s sugar and molasses exports generated an average of US$74.002 million per day in October 2025, totaling US$962.296 million from 2.33 million tonnes shipped over 13 working days, according to Secex. The average daily export volume rose 5.9% to 179,586 tonnes compared with October 2024, when 169,516 tonnes were shipped daily. However, lower international prices caused daily revenues to drop 8.1% year over year. The average price per tonne fell 13.3%, from US$475.20 in October 2024 to US$412.20 in October 2025, indicating that despite higher export volumes, the decline in sugar prices reduced total earnings.
