NEW INVESTMENTS IN WATERWAYS AND PORTS TO BOOST NATIONAL LOGISTICS EFFICIENCY

Silvio Costa Filho, the Minister of Ports and Airports, is in Manaus to unveil new waterway sector investments and deliver the first iron ore barges from LHG Mining. Constructed at the Juruá Shipyard, these barges are part of a 400-unit order for shipping iron ore to Uruguay along the Paraná and Paraguay rivers. During his visit, he also presented the modernization project for the Port of Eirunepé, which will benefit over 33,000 residents, and inaugurated the Small Public Port Facility in Envira.
