2024 OFF-SEASON CORN HARVEST REACHES 83% IN BRAZIL’S CENTER-SOUTH REGION

According to AgRural, the 2024 off-season corn harvest reached 83% of the sown area in Brazil’s Center-South as of July 18. This reflects an increase of 74% from the previous week and 47% from the same period in 2023. With the work in Mato Grosso close to completion, attention now shifts to neighboring states. Rains delayed harvest in Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, and São Paulo for a second week, although no corn quality issues were reported.
