2024-25 SOYBEAN CROP PLANTING NEARS COMPLETION, SAYS AGRURAL

A good wave of rain covering almost all of Brazil provided another week of perfect conditions for the development of the 2024–25 soybean crop, whose planting is almost complete. AgRural claims that only a few isolated areas require attention now. The rainfall and cloudy skies over the past few days, along with the prediction of more water, may provide some crops in Paraná a few extra days of the cycle. At the opposite end of the country, some localized areas face a lack of humidity in the North/Northeast and there may be replanting in points of sandier soil. According to AgRural, 171.5 million tons of soybeans will be produced in Brazil in the 2024–2025 harvest.
