With seven units distributed throughout the northwest region of Paraná, Santa Terezinha processed 10.9 million tons in the year and achieved a production of 1.1 million tons of sugar and 240 million liters of ethanol. Revenue is projected at R$3.7 billion. According to Paulo Meneguetti, the President of the group, there were concerns about the climate throughout 2024, marked for the most part by irregular and low-intensity rainfall, which was observed until mid-September. However, from October onwards, the rains returned with greater volumes, transforming harvest conditions. “We had a very small drop in productivity, which did not reach 5%, but from an economic point of view the result was above expectations, with sugar prices above the historical average.”
