October set a new benchmark for the Port of São Francisco do Sul, with exports surpassing 1.1 million tonnes—the highest monthly total in its history. Brazilian grain shipments played a pivotal role in achieving this milestone. During the month, 583,000 tonnes of soybeans and 476,000 tonnes of corn were shipped to China. Additional exports included wood products and steel coils. Soybeans exported through the northern Santa Catarina terminal accounted for 11% of all Brazilian soybean exports in October, totaling 5.5 million tonnes. At a market price of R$2,300 per tonne, these soybean shipments generated R$2.6 billion in revenue for Brazil.
