PUBLIC DOCKS IN PORT OF PARANAGUÁ RECEIVE RECORD LOAD OF FERTILIZER

This week, the ports of Parana set a record by handling a significant amount of fertilizer on a single ship at the public dock. Luiz Fernando Garcia, CEO of Portos do Parana has stated that the ports of Paranaguá and Antonina are the main entry points for fertilizers in Brazil, accounting for 27% of the total amount of fertilizers arriving in the country. Currently, the static storage capacity of these ports beats 3 million tons of fertilizers. At the Port of Paranaguá, fertilizers can be unloaded at three preferred berths on the public (commercial) pier or any other free berth. There are also two berths that serve the sector on the private pier (Fospar) and two other berths in Antonina.
