With 23% of executive operation completed, the Port of Paranaguá is Brazil’s largest public port project. The Moegão complex, aimed at improving grain flow, will handle 180 wagons of dry bulk like soybeans, corn, and soybean meal, speeding up logistics. The project, costing about BRL 600 million, involves rebuilding the road-rail system and building three independent railway lines to enhance efficiency. Modern soil-containment methods like jet grouting ensure stability and safety below sea level. The new infrastructure will reduce rail crossings from sixteen to five, easing local traffic. The Port of Paranaguá will become more competitive in grain exports after the project is finished in December 2025.
