The FTSPar Group’s Port of Antonina has signed a two-year contract with EDFMan, a trading company, to export 1.4 million tons of VHP sugar in bulk. The contract, which includes the option of renewal for another two years, was signed for the 2024-2026 harvests and highlights Porto Ponta do Félix’s importance in the transportation of Brazilian sugarcane harvests. Recently, the terminal carried out successful shipments of VHP sugar produced in São Paulo, demonstrating its efficiency. VHP sugar is used as a raw material for refined sugar that is traded globally. Ponta do Félix Port serves Brazil’s booming sugar output by increasing storage capacity and improving infrastructure.
