In the week ending May 17, there were 78 ships waiting to load sugar in Brazilian ports, down from 79 the week before. Loading of 3.44 million tons of sugar was scheduled, down from 3.61 million in the previous week. Most of this volume is likely to be loaded through the port of Santos, with 2.82 million tons. The next two were Paranaguá with 560.23 thousand tons and Maceió with 61.1 thousand tons. VHP (3.4 million tons), Cristal B-150 (25,08 thousand tons), and TBI (11.8 thousand tons) make up the sugar load to be exported. The analysis takes into account ships that are now anchored, as well as those that are awaiting berthing, and those expected to arrive by July 4th.
