Port authority Portos do Paraná is expanding the use of road signs in the Port of Paranagua with horizontal (road paintings) and vertical (standing signs) indications in its primary and back areas. The new traffic indications follow studies that aim to guarantee drivers a better experience and streamline the port’s logistical flow. Priority was given to blue stripes, which guide pedestrians within the port area, and horizontal lines that determine vehicle lanes, limiting where cars, machines, and trucks can circulate. According to the Occupational Health and Safety manager at Portos do Paraná, José Sbravatti, the orientation is for all users walking within the port area to use the blue lanes designated solely for pedestrians. The blue lanes start at gate 2 (Dom Pedro II), with ramifications leading to the port’s eastern area up to berth 214.
