The harvest of the 2018/19 soyabean crop was started in Paraná, reaching 5% of the 5.453 million hectares reported this week by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), of the State Department of Agriculture and Supply. Of the oilseed crops, 58% were in good condition, 30% in average condition and 12% in bad condition. Of the total planted, 11% was in vegetative development, 29% in flowering, 43% in fruiting and 17% in maturation. Deral also reported that 10% of the crops of the first 2018/19 corn crop were in the vegetative stage of development, 27% in flowering, 55% in fruiting and 8% in maturation. Of the total planted, 74% were in good condition, 24% in average condition and 2% in poor condition. According to Deral, the second corn crop 2018/19 was planted, reaching 3% of the planted area of 2.188 million hectares. The cereal is in the germination stage, with 95% in good condition and 5% in average condition.
