The federal government has simplified some control measures adopted as a result of the covid-19 pandemic for the entry of foreigners into the country. According to the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), the publication of Interministerial Ordinance No. Official Diary of the Union from Monday (12), the traveler will no longer need to fulfill a series, but only some of the requirements necessary to enter the national territory. In a note, Anvisa says that the measure simplifies the controls that exist today, as it allows any traveler to fulfill any of the necessary requirements. According to the agency, the visitor can, for example, choose to present only proof of vaccination, or a test with a negative result, upon arriving in Brazil. The new rules are already in effect and must be observed by travelers and transport operators in air, water and land modes.
