CMAA aims to invest BRL 3.5 billion by 2033 to develop its operations in Uberaba, Limeira do Oeste, and Canápolis. The project is estimated to generate 3,000 direct employments. This investment is expected to improve the company’s yearly income from BRL 3 billion to about BRL 4 billion by 2025. The CEO of CMAA voiced optimism about the sugar-energy market and the Triângulo Mineiro. The company currently crushes 10 million tons of sugarcane and saw a large growth in income during the 2023-2024 timeframe. The investment plans were unveiled at the 7th SIAMIG event in Uberaba, MG, which also focused on the expansion of sugarcane production in Minas Gerais.
