In the last week, the Accident and Incident Communication app came into operation, aiming to integrate and streamline communication between terminals and authorities at the time of occurrences, accelerating joint actions and minimizing possible information mismatches. From now on, the terminals located in the port complexes of Santos and São Sebastião, located on the coast of São Paulo, will use the new tool. The app was developed in a joint effort between the National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ), the State Commission for the Prevention of Accidents and Incidents at the Port Complex of Santos and São Sebastião (Cepai/SP) and the Developer WA – Sistemas, to facilitate the exchange of information on port security. The tool has the participation of 61 companies, including tenants, private use terminals and operators, in addition to the participating bodies of Cepai/SP.
