Brazil’s soybean exports for March were estimated at 15.56 million tons, slightly adjusted from the previous week’s forecast but still below the all-time record of 15.7 million tons set in April 2021. The National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) noted that the shipment schedule might allow for a potential record of 16.1 million tons. This estimate marks a 2 million ton increase compared to earlier in 2024, following a delay in the soybean harvest. Brazil’s soybean meal exports in March were projected at 2.6 million tons, surpassing the previous monthly record of 2.46 million tons. With a record harvest nearing 170 million tons and strong demand from China, Brazil is expected to export over 100 million tons of soybeans in 2025.
