Soy is BrasilAgro’s main crop in five Brazilian states, with an annual production of around 200 thousand tons. BrasilAgro, a corporation that specializes in the sale of rural lands and agricultural production, has invested BRL 4 million in a facility at Chaparral Farm in Correntina (BA) to manufacture soybean seeds. The newly completed factory is projected to reduce the company’s need for seed by up to 40%. The structure in Bahia will be able to handle up to 7,500 tons of soybeans per hour.
