In the week ending July 12, the total number of ships waiting to load sugar at Brazilian ports was 87, up from 82 the previous week (05). Loading of 3.924 million tons of sugar was planned, up from 3.894 million the week before. The vast majority (3.069 million tons) must be loaded through Santos (SP). The ports of Paranaguá in Paraná (827,182 tons) and Maceió in Alagoas (27,332 tons) follow.
