The week ending August 23 saw 80 ships waiting to load sugar in Brazilian ports, an increase from 77 the previous week (16). Over 4.2 million tons of sugar have been scheduled, up from 3.669 million the previous week. Most of the cargo (3.409 million tons) will be loaded at the Port of Santos (SP). Following that are the ports of Paranaguá in Paraná (840,207 tons), Sao Sebastiao in Sao Paulo (25,000 tons), and Maceió in Alagoas (17,142 tons). There will be shipments of VHP (4.150 million tons), TBI (67 thousand tons), and Cristal B150 (75 thousand tons).
