In the 2024/25 harvest, the Lins mill, located in the São Paulo municipality of the same name, processed the largest volume of sugarcane since the beginning of its operations, in 2007. In the last cycle, 4.68 million tons of sugarcane were processed , according to the company’s announcement on Tuesday, the 10th. In 280 days of harvest, the company produced 6.24 million 50-kilo bags of sugar and 192.7 million liters of ethanol. Lins also details that the production mix was 53.22% directed to the sweetener and 46.78% to biofuel. In addition to sugar and ethanol, the plant also produced 3,930 tons of dry yeast throughout the 2024/25 harvest.
