Albuquerque also said he has participated in OPEC meetings with energy ministers from the group of the twenty richest countries (G20): “Brazil has been recognized as a country that has overcome difficulties and has been very successful in the actions that are being implemented in the sector,” he said. The minister endorsed that Brazil is expected to become the fifth-largest producer globally and the fourth-largest exporter of oil in the world in the next few yearw. In addition, he has highlighted Petrobras’ new oil export record in September, despite the drop in global demand because of the pandemic.
