The director of International Relations of the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), Sueme Mori, said this Wednesday (6) that there is a prospect of an increased demand for agribusiness products from Arab countries in the coming years. She said some countries, such as China and other Asian and African nations, have a projection of growth in demand due to higher population and income. She said that is also reflected in Arab countries. According to Mori, the Arab markets have increased their demand for food, an industry in which they are very dependent on external suppliers. “The outlook is very positive. This year, we received many delegations from Arab countries seeking collaboration to use Dubai as a processing hub and take advantage of the local government’s facilities to serve the region with products not produced there.” she said.
