The Port of Itaqui, managed by EMAP, achieved a notable 12.3% increase in customer and partner satisfaction in 2023, with approval rising from 85.1% to 97.4%. Key factors behind this success were the port’s strategic location (30.7%) and the depth of its berths (22.6%). EMAP’s responsiveness and management were also praised, with service satisfaction reaching 94.4%. Sustainability and safety received high approval ratings of 94.6%. Infrastructure improvements played a key role, as berths had an 80.7% approval rate, and vessel scheduling saw a notable rise from 71.1% to 89.2%. Gilberto Lins, President of the Port of Itaqui, credited the increase to the team’s focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainability, solidifying the port’s position among Brazil’s top public ports.
